Sander van Kuijk (1981) works as clinical epidemiologist at the department of Clinical Epidemiology and Medical Technology Assessment of the Maastricht University Medical Centre. After working as a biostatistics and epidemiology teacher and as researcher at the department of Epidemiology, Sander obtained his PhD on prediction modelling and on methodological and statistical challenges in clinical research. Currently, he cooperates in research projects with pain specialists, and is associate editor of Pain Practice. His interest lies in research methodology of therapeutic, prognostic and diagnostic research. He teaches courses on clinical prediction modelling, analysis of clinical trials, and handling missing data.
